Rules and Safety

Our Policies for a Safe & Happy Pack

Our Owner's Agreement

By creating an account and using the services at The Pup Yard, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms at all times:

Health & Vaccination Requirements

For the health and safety of our entire pack, all dogs must be healthy and up-to-date on vaccinations. Proof of vaccination from a licensed veterinarian is required before your dog’s first day.

Required Vaccinations:

Rabies
DHLPP or DAPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Lepto, Parvo, Parainfluenza)
Bordetella (Kennel Cough)
All dogs must also be on a year-round flea and tick prevention program.
Daily Health Check: If your dog is showing any signs of illness (coughing, vomiting, diarrhea, etc.), please keep them home. This is critical to preventing the spread of illness and ensuring the comfort of the other pups.

Behavior & Your First Week Trial

Our daycare is a highly interactive and structured environment. To ensure it’s the right fit for your pup and our existing pack, all new dogs begin with a first-week trial period.
During this initial week, we kindly require that you remain available by phone and able to arrange for pickup should your dog show signs of severe stress, anxiety, or behavior that isn’t compatible with our group setting. Our top priority is the well-being of every dog in our care.
Once your pup successfully completes their trial week and is fully enrolled, the check-in and check-out process will be streamlined, quick, and easy!

Owner Responsibility & Liability

Your dog’s safety is our top priority. We are committed to providing a clean and secure facility with constant, professional supervision to create the safest possible environment for group play.
However, dogs can be unpredictable. By using our services, you acknowledge and agree that you are responsible for any harm or damage caused by your dog. The Pup Yard holds no liability for injuries or illnesses that may occur during appropriate, supervised group play. You are financially responsible for your dog’s actions.
